... As in years. But now I have a newly acquired Ford E350. It's filthy. Was used to haul firewood for a while. Having just acquires it, I'm cleaning first, but the dust is deep - as in, I pulled off some panelling and both the inside of the panelling and the metal behind it had a solid layer of dust. Now, I don't have allergies, but I don't want to smell this dust once I move in, and I know how hidden dirt can seep out and dirty up things if the trouble is not taken to uncover and remove it. I've already spent a few hours cleaning, and it will take at least double what I've already put in if I want to clean everything. I've already removed the paneling that is easily removable, but do I need to go to the trouble of removing all of it to get a good deep clean?

Imafraid I already know the answer and I'm just being lazy, but confirmation would be nice. Anyway, you are all lovely people, from what I've seen, and it's a pleasure to meet all of you.

Welcome to the CRVL Forums   :)

I'm sure after you get it cleaned up you'll be able to enjoy it.    Every minute you've spent getting it ready will
pay off when you go on the road.

Welcome to the forums. Sometimes a leaf blower comes in handy, or a shop vacuum that you can put a hose on the outlet. If it blew into a space, I might blow back out. Wear a dust mask.

Welcome to the forum!

I bet you that if you don't get as much dust out of it as possible now that you will regret it every time you do smell it on the road. By then you will have your build done and it will either not be possible or 10 times the effort to get rid of the remaining dust.
