I thought I posted here but I guess I must have just thought I did.
I do a lot of Native American style beadwork. When I left a regular home behind, I also left almost everything else except my art supplies, my leather and furs and all my beads, and my looms and other tools. I didn't even care if my clothes went----I just wanted the art supplies and beadworking stuff to be on board. I don't plan on being a fashion model at my age so who cares? As long as I'm warm when it's cold and cool when it's hot, I really am not picky about fashion anymore. There was a time when I was and back then all the shoes, clothes, makeup and "stuff" would never have fit in here.
Does anyone else do this kind of thing? I've traded my beadwork for a lot of things I needed and I'm sure I still will all along the way. People who live this lifestyle make great traders, I've found.
