Battery isolator

1994 Chevy Jayco conversion van.   House battery not charging.  Alternator ok.  Don't know where the isolator is and how to check it.

A battery isolator looks like this or similar with the three posts: https://www.amazon.com/Power-Multi-...t=&hvlocphy=9027693&hvtargid=pla-640961045234  I have seen them mounted in the front part of the engine bay.  Mine on a Chevy Roadtrek is mounted underneath on the K member.  You will probably need to look around for it unless someone here has one.  There seems to be quite a few Jayco models.

get your multi-meter and start tracing the wire. I am not a fan of those solid state isolators. highdesertranger
