I was just wondering if there are many (any ?) folks that spend most or all of their time boondocking  just in AZ.  I'm assuming you'd move north in the summer and south in the winter.  I'm also assuming that most/all your living is boondocking.
So....my questions are: Are any folks doing it ? What's your camping schedule like (how long, roughly, do you stay in 1 location and how many moves per year) ? What's your approximate  mileage/year ? Is it just 1 or 2 folks or is there a Tribe developing ?
Thanks for any/all input.

I've done it, spent the entire year boondocking in Arizona. It saves a lot of money because you don't drive very far to stay in moderate temperatures.

In the winter the warmest spot is in Yuma which also has the most days of sunshine anywhere in the USA and it's surrounded by free BLM land or LTVA land. You can even camp for free right on a lake!

Within 400 miles is lots of free National Forest camping at 7000-9000 feet so its very comfortable in the summer.

Great temperatures year around, never pay a penny for camping, and rarely a problem with Rangers--no need to ask someone for permission or telling you how long you can stay.

Easy peasy!

Drive a little further and you can be in the Rockies or Sierras in truly gorgeous camping--you're choice!!

I always thought that would be next to perfect if one wanted to stay in one state most of the time. We spent May thru Sept in a pop-up camper in an RV park through the heat and through the monsoons just north of Tucson. It was "interesting" and required a lot of "creativity". There was actually another family of 3 doing the same thing so we traded tips which helped a lot. Actually, this was the best summer of my life!
