Mine is a reminder I was younger once and in a gorgeous place with as good a friend as I could ever hope to have. He is also gone now, but he took a piece of my heart with him. I look forward to the day when I see him again.

Homer. I think he was the world's luckiest traveling dog. All the beautiful and scenic places you both shared. And shared with us. Thanks, Bob.

During my first solo backpacking trip (of more than one night) going up one of the passes in the Bighorns of Wyoming.

My avatar depends on the site I'm on...I often use the front cover of my first published book if I don't want my face seen.

Nice looking TT. Look's like a nice secluded spot on some BLM land.

Superstition area of Arizona. I highly recommend it.

My Avatar is representing the old age of a Baba of which I am one. It is my personal Wisdom Keeper that has taught me to let things go and not think I need to control all things and to not let people take advantage of me. Her actual name is Sensitivity. I need to learn to not take things personally.

I watched Steve McQueen's movie he starred in, titled, " Tom Horn ", his next to the last movie. Released in 1980. I loved it.  - channel - Movieclips Trailer Vault

I truly do love the Old West. The History.

Second choice - Waterfall on Kearny Creek. Would have stayed for days. Trout for supper every night.
Third choice. The elusive Pika. Never saw or heard of one.
Amazing trip. Nice write up about it.

Me when I was in the 3rd grade. Often wonder what happened to that kid. He was so happy and full of life. I'm sure nowadays he is just some old guy bitter and cynical from life's experiences.
