Hello, all! Gosh I'm not real sure what to even write about.

I'm living in a 34' Fleetwood Class A with my goofy dog Max, my 14 year old cat Boogie and my 17 year old cat Zaps (spaz backward). The Beast has just under 11,000 miles on it, so after some routine maintenance and 6 new tires, I have high hopes that I will soon be able to flee the surface of the sun, aka Texas.

I'm still trying to decide where to go, probably the Pacific Northwest, or maybe the other direction towards North Carolina.

Admittedly the mountains terrify me. I've lived in Florida at or below sea level most of my life. Any suggestions on mild climates would be very much appreciated! I plan to do a fair amount of boondocking (as much as is pissible in a class a) because I truly crave some silence, at least for a little while.

to escape the heat you need elevation or to go north along the coast.

Krazyannee, welcome to the forum. I'm in the PNW but North Carolina sounds nice. I've never been there, but it looked wonderful when I saw it on Aerial America. Texas is nice too - in the winter. I've never been there in the summer.
