Well, first forum, first attempt at posting. I'll soon be dejunking and moving to south Louisiana to build my mobile domicile. Divorced, retired, and got my kid's houses all fixed up. As Joseph Campbell says "you must be willing to leave the life you have planned for yourself in order to go to the life that is waiting for you"
I have read (lurked?) these pages for quite some time and gleaned lots of information from a lot of you. I hope to repay in the future. I have my power needs figured out and materials purchased. Well, I guess, most everything. My biggest dilemna now is what to put it all in. Van? Van/trailer? I'll read on and meditate/visualize. Wisdom will come?
I took my username from Lao Tzu "The good traveler has no fixed plans and is not intent on arriving". This group allowed me to begin to understand that.

Welcome to the crew. DW and I are in a similar boat: we've travelled a great deal but always with time constraints. No longer. June 2 we head out, starting with the great northwest and from there? *shrug* Who knows.

Let us know about your progress.

I appreciate the good wishes and look forward to future discourse! bk2valve, New Mexico is the state of my birth. I have had many visions of "good things happening" on my future visits to The Land of Enchantment! As I develop skills in this media, I hope to follow the leaders here and offer what I intuit to those who seek to seek what the teachers seek. <img src="/images/boards/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" align="absmiddle">) I'm thinking Van/trailer! Bob makes it make sense. Breathing a big breath of fresh air! Thanks!
