"Van Life" was not something twenty-four year old Anastassia sought when leaving her hometown of Lockport, Illinois in a 1971 Dodge Campervan. It just simply happened. Her desire for freedom and the unknown, had tangled her into a two year journey of life on the open road.

Anastassia, or Stass by those her know her well, entered a world of endless adventures bringing her deep within the Rockies, to the conch riddled islands of The Keys, and all the glorious places in between. This is not only a story of the miles behind the wheel, but also of the kindred spirits Stass crossed paths with."

I would sure like to get my hands on a sweet, retro van like that. I'm glad she is having an adventure, but it is a shame she is running that van into the ground like that. Something like that deserves to be restored and preserved.
