We just visited Waco last month. Disappointing that the pass didn't cover entrance into the exhibit building.

America the Beautiful Pass did not cover entry fees to Waco Mammoth National Monument exhibit building. Only access to the grounds...

sorry the fees weren't covered but cool about the monument. i never heard of it before there is another mammoth exhibit
30 miles south of Custer State Park in SD that was cool also.

I will have to look into that one. Right now I am focused on the NPs that are far away from home. Then I can do the surrounding states later. I live in Nebraska and have visited some places in SD years ago. I really like the states right around here, lots of scenery to look at.

I use mine often for half price camping in National Forests. It does not work at National Monuments but you still get a senior discount at them.

We were in SD this September. We really enjoyed the Crazy Horse Monument. Quite impressive that the will of only a few can create an ongoing project of this magnitude and longevity.
