I can handle the heat as long as there's a strong fan blowing on me, so not one of those little 12v oscillating fans. And I'm on the East Coast with lots of humidity. 90-105 degrees inside the van is no problem. But I'm using this gigantic Vornado 733  (which uses  41.3w, 45.3w, 62.3w  low, med, high).

So how about this air mover:  https://www.amazon.com/Shop-Vac-103...UTF8&qid=1469375865&sr=8-3&keywords=air+mover

This dude using it in his van:

Wonder how much power it uses?

I walked into a friends workplace that had a few of this type of blower, and was impressed with the velocity and compact stream of airflow and just how far this stream reached from the unit
.
But 172 watts is a huge consumption figure if this is to be used on battery power.

I put this small loud computer fan on a gooseneck and spring clamp for internal air movement:

I use a voltage controller to control its speed/noise:

The above voltage controller is too loose in most 12v receptacles, and sideways tweaking can allow metal tip to short(+) and - inside receptacle and blow fuse to receptacle. Proper size heatshrink covering most all of tip but for spring loaded metal tip is the solution.

The 92Mm vantec fan is powerful, and loud at 12v, and is not as powerful as a 53 watt vornado fan, but I find it highly effective, In coastal san Diego, which rarely gets above 85f. It can only draw about 12 watts though. I have mine aimed at my legs right now, on 4.5 volts from about 3 feet away and its amp draw at 4.5 volts is quite small, and it is quiet too at 4.5v
