love the craftsmanship but i bet its a load for the v.w. or mini

All that exposed copper wouldn't last 5 minutes around here. It would be stolen for scrap.

LOL, COOL! I see the easy access for changing tires, be won't he get hassled for having no fenders?

But it is beautiful. And I hope he keep an eye on it if in NM. They will steal anything if it means they can scrap it.

When I was a little kid there was a TV show called  "The Wild Wild West" and I always remembered it as something unique.  I talked to people about it all through school days and then the Steam Punk move
began to arise.   I saw my first Steam Punk Laptop in the late 90's.

I can only imagine having this Laptop to use when traveling in that Trailer.

Sadly, I don't live in an area that is too innovative or trend setting.

There was a feller building these Steampunk Laptops and other SP goodies, but sadly he passed away a couple years ago. He will be missed. He was both an engineer and a superb artist!
The recent Wild Wild West movie with Will Smith has a strong steampunk theme to it. Fun to watch, even if it does rankle to those of us who remember the old series.

I "LOVED" that show! James West & Artemus Gordon.  Good memories. :D

The teardrop has had a lot of time put into it, but the weight would be a big negative.

Article says it weighs in at just under a 1,000 lbs. which isn't too shabby at all for it!!
