Saw this post over in one of the mainstream rv forums.  The guy who posted it swore it really happened, he wasn't just making it up.

He was camp hosting somewhere and a woman who had just arrived came up to him and announced that the site they were in was "totally unacceptable".  Now this was the site that they had picked out and reserved online.

Still, they had other sites available, so he took her on the camp golf cart and they drove around looking at them.

This one was too far from the rest rooms.  That one was too close to them.  Site A had too many trees.  Site B didn't have enough trees.  After taking up a half hour of this guys time, and looking at every unoccupied site, she finally decided on one she found minimally acceptable.

As they were driving back to the office, just to make conversation, he asked her how long she was staying?

"Oh, we're only staying overnight.  We're on our way to the coast!"

Regards
John

Having dealt with the public in a major tourist area for a number of years I eventually got numb to the dumb stuff they bring with them. After being away from all of that I am not sure I could deal with the one on one crap that they being with them. I actually had one guy tell me that someone "pooped in my beer". No kidding. He reAlly said that.

hehe I've had the misfortune of being acquainted with a few of those types of people, usually driving big expensive RV's.
