Hola.

I bought mine last April. Decided I'd spend less up front on an older-but-sturdy van; try it out; see if I was cut out for it; and if not, I could sell it. I wanted one with windows, and I lucked into a one-ton that ran well, was in good shape, had been taken care of. Bestie helped me take the seats, belts, & carpet out and put a black hard foam floor mat in.

Maiden voyage was summer of 2017 thru TX, NM, and CO, with a kayak in the belly.  (It was so cool to sleep through a NM rainstorm and not worry one iota about waking up wet.)

Now planning on gutting her completely, insulating, and finishing her up so she's livable year-round. I want to put a tiny wood stove in her, if possible. I get too cold too easily.

Glad to have stumbled upon this site/forum. Have already found several helpful posts and threads.

Cheers.

Hello Lowlight,

I too have the older ford e350 Passenger van. I have two actually. A 1994 with 91K miles, and a 1995 with 130k miles. I have already gutted them both, but I plan on building out the 94 van for the camper since it has less mileage and all, and the 95 will continue to be my delivery vehicle.

Good luck on your build, and be sure to post pictures along the way.
