Hello everyone I bought a 2019 Kia Sportage LX and I'm looking at setting it up for car camping for road trips and was wanting to know if anyone else has any ideas?

Cute little SUV/Crossover. Is it 4WD and can you remove the rear seat?

It's the FWD model and I'd have to fold the back seats down then build a platform for sleeping and a sliding kitchenette or chuckwagon fixture.

You might check out the Prius section since the both vehicle's interiors are pretty close in size. Also consider dragging a small trailer. Either a teardrop type to sleep in or as a cargo trailer. You might also add a hitch to it (if it doesn't have one) and get a hitch platform for extra storage and for space to cook on. An SUV tent is an option too.
