Anyone ever change the fuel filter on this van? it's ran fine for a year and it started acting up. I let it sit for 3 weeks and the fuel was low. Started it and 10 miles down the road,it started missing, has power when you floor it. So I stopped by the auto parts store and the kid says it's not serviceable. Is it a screen inside the tank or am I missing something?

There is a filter in the tank fuel pump. You may have to change the pump. There usually is another inline fuel filter. I'm not sure about chevys. google your model year for repair advice.

there is a mesh type filter in the tank. with the limited info you gave I looked up on Rock Auto and for a 2005 GMC Savana 5.3 liter there is an in line filter. the mesh filter in the tank hardly ever goes bad. it should only need replacing when the fuel pump is replaced. the in line filter should be replace at normal service intervals. I replace mine with every oil change because of the dusty conditions I am in. highdesertranger
