It overcharges now using solar panels. Panels now useless with the Kodiak.

Sounds like a simple failure of the internal charge controller. Possibly it is replaceable?

I don't know, just wishful thinking maybe.

Welcome to the CRVL forums Rick! Did you buy it with your credit card? Many credit card companies add a year onto the product warrenty so you may be able to get a refund.

To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips, Tricks and Rules" post lists some helpful information to get you started.

Most of our rules boil down to two simple over-riding principles: 1) What you post should provide good information (like your introductory post), and 2) Any response to someone else's post should make them feel glad they are part of this forum community.

We look forward to hearing more from you.

A friend of mine was having trouble with her old Kodiak. She picked up the phone and called their customer service - they told her what to do. Even though it was out of warranty. Just a thought.
