Yep, projecting out 10 years (8 years from now) can be uncertain.

Some jobs and careers can disappear or change a lot in that amount of time.

If you are a remote worker it may be worth developing some extra skills that build on each other so that you will be competitive. There are many online sites where you can study and gain those skills and even get certificates from those sources.

With the Global Market Commerce growing ever greater, those with foreign language skills (especially reading and writing in them) will have a respectable advantage. If you can read and write in those languages you could be called to work with basic contracts.
