it's here.  they told me 4-6 weeks and it took them just over 4 weeks to build my trailer.  right now it's just a big empty box but I will share some pics,

Congrats, Mike! I dig that ground clearance.

some detail,

I got a triple tube extended tongue.

another view.  you can also get a good view of the heavy duty tongue jack in this picture.

in this pic. you can see the old school Bull dog type hitch.  forged steel not fooling around.  the hitch is rated at 15,000 pounds.  I over rated everything. I also got the adjustable hitch, with this I can remove the hitch for security reasons, I can bolt a lunette so I can use my pintle hitch.

6k axles,  everything on the trailer is rated 12k+,  but I derated it on the registration to 9,995 pounds.  unladen  weight is 4.420 pounds.  so in theory a 5,575 pound payload.

more to come.

Looks nice! Is the left side a refection or is it oilcanning as it looks wavy. I had a 28' CarMate with the drop down ranp 4' side door , sleaping, eating, cooking in the front, wired, insulated & plywood on the interior. Was $30k new sold it for $3k last year. I always change the jacks for the swing ups. The Car Mate was great but to big & heavy to travel for me anymore. Congrads!

Edit to add: Forgot to say congrats. It should stand up to your off road antics!

I like the bulldog hitch.  Looks identical to the one on my motorcycle trailer (4x6 with a V nose).  Those stamped hitches never looked very robust to me.

No good pics of just the hitch.

Man that's gonna take a lot of tan bed linner to cover up all the desert pin stripes! A picture of bucking donkey with a stick lit in it's teeth and a pick and shovel strapped on it's back in flat black over the tan like the old Colorado School of Mines mascot would look pretty good too.

Looks great, Mike! Looking forward to seeing what you do with it!

Are you going to cut in a man door & can you share your plans with us? They one I have was heavy, 5900#. I tou anyting big with a 2 bar equalizer hitch. I have an 12v elect jack for the front NIB free for you but shipping would cost what it did as mine was bear to crank as the weight was in the front without a car in it. It would look great with some neat graphics on the sides & full alum diamond plate on the front $60 4x8.

Congrats Mike but where's the roof porn? You know that I am chomping at the bit to light up those two big boys.

It's WHITE and it's CHROME!

Just never pictured you as a guy who likes bright white, shiney, chromey, blingy things....man, where ARE my shades?

:p

(very nice, looks like it will JUST fit at YARC 2020)....

Bullfrog, yep it' getting a paint job sometime down the road. only the roof will get the bed liner, the rest will get paint. I can't wait to scratch it up. LOL

Thanks Cyndi, BandC, Roamer

Gr8ful, yes I am going to cut in a man door also windows. I can get RV doors and windows for next to nothing that's why I didn't have them put them in. with the heavy duty tongue jack it will lift it loaded no problem that was the whole idea.

Jim I am going today to pick up the battery box. for sure I will let you know when. I am trying to get the logistics worked out. I will PM you later as I have a few questions.

tx2sturgis, I know the color sucks. paint is in the future. I didn't like any of their factory colors and the chrome is on all of that model. so paint it is. I missed you at the YARC by a couple of days.

You have enough real estate up there to put a gazillion watts of solar!! Looking forward to see what you will do with it!

Wow Mike! Super impressive. It's one thing to read the description (from when you ordered), and another to see it in the pics. Congrats!

Your going to have to buy more stuff, too much room in that trailer.

Nice platform, now comes the fun part.

Really nice! HUGE, compared to mine.. lol

(and not that I'm jaded, but seeing the flat roof.. have you tested for leaks????)

Only question is, will the stripper pole be chrome to match the trailer, or traditional brass?

My new trailer didnt come with a stripper pole either....so dont feel bad.
