I'm finally installing the maxxair vent on my fiberglass hitop roof. Does it really matter if I use putty or butyl tape? I still have a lot of putty tape from when I installed the fantastic vent on my metal roof last year.
I was looking at fantastic vents on Amazon looks like there's 500 different model numbers. Does anyone know what's better about the newer models that came out like are they quieter or what?
Is anyone else running this cooler. I mean how much more power does it use ? I want to have power for a fridge and my fantastic fan that's about it. If you have a house battery and a solar panel wouldn't you be fine?
I'm gonna be doing mostly urban city camping but maybe I can use the shadecloth or something across the sides door while it's opened. This way it will be like a slow cooker instead of a pressure cooker.
Good luck finding butane ga s cans lol . I was at the Oakland flea market and that's a big market maybe one guy had a few cans. Or go on Amazon and get wrecked , might as well buy that stove for $80 WHILE ur at it.
