$2.25 for regular at every station I passed about an hour ago, $2.69 for diesel at the only one with diesel prices on the sign.

    Strangest breakdowns

I parked in a parking lot to eat, shut the car off and turned off the headlight switch. 30 minutes later, went to leave and found I had a dead battery. Got out and saw the headlights and taillights were still on. Headlight switch had no effect on the headlights.

    Questions about campers and pickups

Extended cab is the small back seat, crew is the full back seat, Mega cab is Dodge's 4th and biggest cab option, which is even bigger than the 3 options offered by the other truck makers.

When you can't decide if you want a Chevy or Dodge, and half way through your van truck build realize you should have just built a van. Wonder if the frame is a Ford.

    Mifi use at home...

If I connect my AT&T hotspot's USB cable to my router the router provides internet over it's ethernet ports and WiFI. I had to flash OpenWRT onto the router and install the USB ethernet drivers to get it to work.

flat bed e350 to camper van

If you are going the custom body route, and want 4x4 why not use a 4x4 pickup chassis instead? Factory 4x4s will be much easier to get parts for than any 4x4 converted van. Personally, I won't touch a 4x4 van since the 4x4 conversion on my old van caused the frame to crack.

    I have a 2016 6.0l 3500 and average 16-17mpg with my typical driving, which is 99% highway.

Help me choose a next vehicle to build from scratch. Thinking diesel, 4wd...

Main differences between a CUCV pickup and regular 6.2l k30 is the 12v/24v dual voltage electrical system and 4.56 axle gears on a diesel, which IIRC was only on gas k30s. Look for the M1010 ambulance if you want a prebuilt 10' box with a pass-through to the cab.

    4x4 van

Who did the 4x4 conversion? If they are no longer in business or it was a backyard conversion, stay away. Also make sure the frame isn't cracked where it was cut out to make room for the front axle, it's why I got rid of my 80s Ford.

CR Laurence FW904RS on Chevy Express Sliding Door?

The OEM windows for the sliding door leave the center support you'd have to cut out to install that window.

Question about Netgear AC791L on VZN...

Does your TP link have a USB port, and support USB networking? I have a router a USB port, but I had to install OpenWRT on the router to make it work with my AT&T and Sprint hotspots.

High Top vs Standard vs Stealth?

The engine is almost never the limiting factor when it comes to weight a vehicle can carry. The suspension/axles/wheel bearings/brakes/chassis/tires all have much more of an effect on payload. In many cases the smaller engine can actually carry more cargo, because the bigger engine weighs more.

Has anyone connected their cab to the slide in?

The M1010 military ambulance, which was built on an 80s chevy pickup, had the cab and box connected.

Biggest inverter safe on 15A shared from front and trunk cigarette plug fuse

If you need to pull 800w, you will have to wire it to the prius's 12v battery. 800w is ~67 amp at 12v, so use a 75a fuse on the wire from the battery installed as close to the battery as possible.

    the newer van

Progressive didn't give me any trouble with my old 1982 E350 or my current 2016 3500 Express. The NC DMV just gave me a regular car tag for both, but my dad's F150 needs a weighted tag.

Is this the holy grail of RV/van Air Conditioners? DC Airco

The battery modules from wrecked teslas are on ebay for around $1300. 24v/250ah or approx 5.3kw and 55lbs because it's lithium ion. Should easily run a 450w load for a workday without solar helping. For safety, use multiple temperature alarms and a camera showing both the interior and a large...
