    Havelock wool availability question

I understand that Havelock wool is the top choice for van insulation. However, why is it always the Havelock brand name? Does no other company package sheep wool for sale? Further to this.... If it is simply sheep wool could I not buy it direct from a sheep farm?

    Thanks but still ordering /building.

Installing a Camco Wave 3 Catalytic propane heater.

I have the above heater but didn't buy any hose/regulator yet to connect it to the propane tank. The hoses from Camco seem expensive, plus I want to "T" off to run a propane small burner stove. I have an experianced propane guy lined up to help with this as soon as he returns from a trip south...

    Transit Connect passenger seat tricks.

OP here. No one has responded yet. My 2020 is a collision damaged vehicle so when I get that repaired I will experiment with reversing the seat. Don't know when that will be but I will report at that time.

    Transit Connect passenger seat tricks.

I am thinking it is strange with the dozens of Connect camper videos I have watched that no one has done this.

In this case I am glad not to be the first one to think of this. Good to know. Thanks for the reply.

    Transit Connect passenger seat tricks.

Has anyone ever unbolted the passenger seat on a Transit Connect and turned it 180 degrees? For a solo traveller it would add an "easy chair" to your rear quarters if this could be done. Another benefit is it would be a safer place for your pet to sleep while you travel.

I found a "free" inverter in my van!

Thank you. I had decided to drop the microwave idea. I will have a propane tank onboard for a Wave 3 heater so will "T" off to a small stove top burner.

I found a "free" inverter in my van!

That is what I thought BUT ...a number of people a whole lot smarter than I said NO! Microwave power fluctuates An 800 watt rating will go up to 1200. Read what they said.

I found a "free" inverter in my van!

It was bought used from a friend so I can get my money back if it doesn't work. I wonder why you call it a 150? I see no numbers like that on it. Looks like a fridge to me and it has a freezer compartment.

You are right. I will give up on the microwave. I just had an older, smaller one here that I was hoping would work, but I will pass on that. I will have propane on board to power a new Camco Wave Catalytic heater so will "T" off and have a small burner stove.
