    Progress over perfection

Yeah, awesome, I'll defo do a captains log. I've got loads of content of the project so far. It's sunday, I'm sat in my van online and I feel like I should be doing something productive as the van is not finished, but...I really can't be arsed today :) Waiting on a new 120Ah battery to add to...

When having a shower I like to get from A to B in 'good time'. The state of my surroundings doesn't usually factor into this equation, that's why the collapsable sink unit made me chuckle! :)

This is my newly converted sink unit which I made out of the chest of drawers. The sliding door of the van is on the left of the sink. That tap rotates and the nozzle pulls out and will be good for outside cold showers. :)

I'm currently looking into the plumbing for my sink. The unit is in and the tap installed. I just need to buy water pump and all the rest of the stuff and fit it. First time doing that. The tap has a pull out spray hose and it's situated by the sliding side door so I could use that to hose...

Thanks for taking the time to share the URL. I'll defo give it a go at some point. Currently working on electrics and starting the plumbing soon whilst sleeping in it. Fortunately I eat at the lodge so it makes it loads easier while I'm doing the work on the van.

Nope not looking to alter the seat as it's compfy enough. Thanks v much for the support, I shall be installing the DC/DC charger and an extra 120Ah battery (my 240Ah battery bank is only 3 months old so it's fine to add a new on at this early stage).

Split charge relay capable of charging 360Ah Battery Bank?

Many thanks for the clarification. I've disconnected the freezer and have plugged in the noco charger. I'm gonna charge the batteries from the mains each day/evening for about a week, or as long as needed. I'll re-set the noco as well, as you suggested. Hopefully some sun will come out to help...

Split charge relay capable of charging 360Ah Battery Bank?

Hi there, thanks very much for the info and your time spent on this and apologies for slow reply. Had a problem getting through to tech support among other things unrelated. The absorption votage is 14.8v for my AGM batteries. Max battery charge rate spec is 25% of bank no more than 30Amps 14.8v...

Split charge relay capable of charging 360Ah Battery Bank?

Thanks for the follow up info. That's pretty clear. I'll have to have a closer look at the MT50 and see how to change that setting. I set the battery type to 'Sealed' and pretty much left it at that. At first glance I don't see the bulk voltage, it's probably under a different heading. I've...

Split charge relay capable of charging 360Ah Battery Bank?

Many thanks for the info, I didn't have this down at all but now I'm getting it. When I get the multimeter up and running again, I'll let you know what the readings are just for resolution. Thanks again for your help (and everyone else's who have commented on this thread. Si

Split charge relay capable of charging 360Ah Battery Bank?

Just after I posted yesterday at noon, the batteries went upto 14.7A. That's the highest I've seen them go. They didn't stay there long though. Here's a pic of the MT50 reading at 12:30pm today (overcast day). I'm using 40A MPPT Epever Tracer C/C. I can't test the actual battery terminals atm as...

Split charge relay capable of charging 360Ah Battery Bank?

Yes, the 0.5A was measured when the freezer was plugged into either my inverter or mains can't remember which. I've since wired the freezer into my battery bank via the fuse box. It's an Alpicool T60 (60L), advert says 60W. When I was looking for a fridge/freezer for the van, I was only thinking...
