    Does anyone use "Anytime Mailbox"?

Wondering if anyone uses "Anytime Mailbox." The service is interesting - you can manage your mail by phone, they forward, scan, toss, or shred. There are a variety of plans, depending on how much mail you expect per month. The how-to looks sticky though - you can do a change of address TO but...

Got a fridge in your car?

Got a fridge in your car? How big is it? Where is it? I've assumed it goes behind the passenger seat, but that's where my head will be and not sure I want a fridge under my head. So that leaves the passenger footwell (current fave although not stealthy at all) or the way back. I'm also having...

    Spare key?

Last summer, while staying at a rental property, I lost my electronic key while hiking and was unable to get back into my Prius. It was a bit of an ordeal (no cell, tow truck, fedex, buying and programming a new electronic key, getting the metal key made wrong, buying a new one, getting the...

Do I really need to tint the windows?

I was assuming I would, but why would I need to tint the windows if whenever I'm parked I use the Reflectix or stealth window covers?

    My greatest fear

My greatest fear is not for my own personal safety, but that after winnowing down my possessions to a few hundred items, what fits in my Prius, my car is going to get broken into when I go for a hike or go to the grocery store.

    In the planning stage...

Greetings! Since 2009, I've been the owner of a 2005 Prius, but soon it will be more than my car. I have so many questions, so I appreciate your advice and expertise!

    Foam mattress or inflatable pad?

I'm in the planning stages and am going back and forth about mattresses for my 2005 Prius. The way I see it, the main advantage of a inflatable pad is that you can deflate it and roll it up. If you're going to keep it out and made all the time, a mattress seems to be the way to go. Another...
