    killer kicks. travel trailer tires?

I'm going to be torturing that trailer on BLM, tribal and other, rough terrain. I'm guessing 6 ply radials? Are there any with heavy tread, more for off road situations? I need strong sidewalls, tires that last at least three years. I won't usually be driving more than two hundred miles every...

There's nothing exactly wrong with it ATM, but my mechanic is sure that's my weakest asset. Just opening it to inspect...

Where's the thread for Queers, Quiltbag±, Trans, etc.?

I'm disabled. Income < $900/mo. It's going very slowly. Figure i've got about a year before landlord sells this. I can't afford rent. This is $100/mo. I keep an eye on pace while LL is at work. It's on a remote cattle range. LL is afraid of robbery. It's not about freedom. 7 mi. Per gallon? NM...

Where's the thread for Queers, Quiltbag±, Trans, etc.?

There's a women's section, though. And it's not a "preference," like Doritos over Fritos. We have serious needs, different from cishet. Many of the replies to my post here are evidence. My identity is important to me. My experience has been trauatic. I want community who understands that. It's...

Where's the thread for Queers, Quiltbag±, Trans, etc.?

Road's a dangerous place for people outside the heteronormative binary, y'know? Sick of closets, sick of passing, sick of assaults. Sick of unsupportive concern trolls  who refuse to use search  engines. I could use some networking with people who don't demand i explain, aplogize for being a...

    DIY AC

That's why i'd vent moist air inside. Wont be on solar system. Said i'll be using pumps, fans with own solar power. My roof, walls all shaded, never hot to touch. Walls, ceilings insulated with Styrofoam, Mylar, black out curtains made of quilts. False floor basement, carpeted. I've been living...

    DIY AC

I would vent the humid, cooled air inside the trailer, too. Solar powered fans, pond pumps are cheap. Bet i could make the whole thing for forty bucks with no drain on my power system. I'd put screened, vented housing over pad box to discourage bugs, dust.
