    My suggestion is, *have a "Structural Inspection" done to it with a "written report" included by the "Inspector". ( that will help with the decision to go back On the road ) and the "roadworthiness" of the vehicle.

    Yes.. It is interesting how Barometic Pressure, Altitude/Air density,Temperature & humidity creates a Large array of conditions that make the variable MPG on the "Rig".

    Looking at your connection, this is what is wrong: Look how the cables cross each other at the inverter Terminals. The installer even used Electrical tape as cover and married tha cables( NO-NO)...Even if the gap between the two cables is 45mm they are too close specially that, when in use...

    It seems you have answered your question for yourself. It is good plan....just need to "polish it" a little. See...the Pic....that's my COMBO...it has been for years now. Works great....and has the 7.5 V8 460cid..., it is a "Power house" at 12MPG while pulling my WRANGLER SPORT.

    Try Carvana's "Buy program" just to see how much they Offer you. Then try to find One like yours in their Stock.
