I was able to try mounting a rooftop tent when I added a roof rack that I got from 4WheelOnline. You might want to consider that as well.

I agree that you have to search about places that still have a restrictive shutdown. I think most places will be lenient in the coming months but with some health protocol that people still need to follow.
