    Thank you everyone for your replies!!!!! LOL, I have state farm and the tow insurance, so i'll give them a call. So, if we are not able to fix the vehicle, pay the tow and hopefully state farm will reimburse all or part of it. Things to possibly get are a tow rope, portable battery charger...

    AAA does not come out to dirt roads!!! I called them. If vehicle completely breaks down when camping, how are people getting their vehicles out? Yes, if you're with other vehicles you can use a tow rope.  What do people do when people are camping by themselves?

    Is AAA worth it for towing protection?

    I called AAA and the receptionist said they absolutely DO NOT come out to dirt roads!!!! So, if you're camping 20-30 miles deep down a dirt road, having AAA is worthless!!!!!!

    Land for nomads

    yup, get 10-20 people to chip in for some cheap land. So easy to build an earth home which stays cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Still can travel wherever you want, however, its nice to have a base camp.
