    Audiobooks anyone?? Updates, suggestions?

Just happened upon this thread and have not read through all of it. However, I am going to recommend two Audible books that I found to be both entertaining and thought provoking. The first being Sycamore Row, by John Grisham. Set in the 1970's south, it is a look at society after it was...

    Instant Pot travel

I guess I need to get past my fear of using it before I even think of where I will put it in my rig. I had an old pressure cooker blow up on me and I just can't get over the mess that created. I would guess that wrapping it in an extra blanket and putting it under the booth seat in a dinette...

    Sewing Machine Recommendations

I use a Brother that I bought at Walmart for like $100. It is a simple machine that has sewn a million miles without one single problem. I sew professionally (We have a canvas shop that we set up at Mtn Man Rendezvous') and have sewn buckskin with it. It has done really well.

Folks that own a small piece of land and camp on it?

We have some recreational lots in NE Utah that are zoned for RV use.  They are only accessible during the summer months though.  I wonder if a lot of the areas that are zoned like this are hard to sell lots in undesirable or hard to access areas???  Just a thought.

    Good morning

:D Today will be a great day!  I got a free salad and orange when I went to pay for my lunch at my favorite convenience store.  Then a nice, very handsome, young man offered to carry a very heavy box to my car for me.  Chivalry is dead after all!  May the sun shine for you as well!

    Million Ways to Make Meatloaf

Hmmm....I heard of rice in meatballs, don't see why it wouldn't work in meatloaf. I use the instant rice in my porcupine meatballs. It plumps right up with the juices of the burger. I like the idea of making the meatloaf in little loaves. You could make a full recipe and freeze some in our...

    Million Ways to Make Meatloaf

I just recently found out that some people make meatloaf using oatmeal!  This realization opened my mind to the fact that there must be a million ways to make meatloaf!  How do you make meatloaf?  Do you use bread, breadcrumbs, crackers, or oatmeal?  Do you use eggs?  Do you use ketchup...

    Howdy from Wyoming

Very good advice! I did not think about that big old overhang back there on a 31 foot MH. Maybe a 24 foot would be better or perhaps we should look at a truck and camper. I have always worried about getting into a truck camper when we are older. However, I have noticed that they have really...

    My customary intro

Come to Wyoming! Avoid Northwest Wyoming (Jackson Hole and Yellowstone) to find places with less population and more pristine camping. I particularly love Southwestern Wyoming. The Uintas and the mountains near the Ham's Fork river are amazing!
