Living and traveling in my car, a good idea?

*** is the only thing that I've found that works, but it's expensive. I only take it on days I work. On other days I just take the pain. Meds don't help, and I won't take pain pills.

Living and traveling in my car, a good idea?

Thanks for all the replies. I've given it so much thought. My health issues make sleeping in my car pretty much impossible. I won't be able to use my cpap machine and sleeping in an uncomfortable position will make my fybromyalgia worse and make it hard to work. My therapist reminded me of...

Living and traveling in my car, a good idea?

That would explain why my car gets such terrible gas mileage

Living and traveling in my car, a good idea?

My car is old, a 99 Dodge Intrepid. It's had some problems. Lately it sometimes loses power driving at high speeds on the interstate. I do have a part time job typing court records,  I travel to courthouses and type the records on my laptop. Right now it isn't enough to live on. I really hate...

Living in a car at the beach?

Thanks for the replies. Doesn't look like it would be a good idea if I'm living in my car. But if I wait until I get my disability (in 2 months I hope), I can buy my van and a Thousand Acres Camping Pass and live near a beach. That is certainly doable.

Living in a car at the beach?

Does anyone live in a car at the beach? I love the beach and maybe I would like living there. I currently live in the mountains. I don't really care for my hometown.

llaundromats rated as highly germy locations

Interesting post about using vinegar in laundry. When my son was a baby, I used cloth diapers. I used bleach in the wash and vinegar in the rinse cycle to cut the bleach, and fabric softener as well. The diapers came out clean and soft and were comfortable for him.

Living in my car and a shelter

Sleeping in my car is so uncomfortable. I really need a firm mattress and also I use a cpap machine. I am however limited by the rules of the shelter, so I am not completely free. My car also eats, a lot of gas, 18 mpg. Most of my money goes into gas. I've heard that a Honda minivan gets much...

Living in my car and a shelter

This is my 2nd time being homeless and it really isn't that bad. Having a car helps a lot. I stay at a shelter. Mostly I just sleep and shower there. I drive around during the day and use my food stamps because I would rather not eat meals at the shelter. I have a few part-time gigs. One of them...
