Solar wires thru side vent of cargo trailer

yes that's the better way to go. I was just trying to think of any options other than putting a hole in the roof. I think a wire thru the side vent might be asking for trouble. I was just thinking it could be snagged by a branch or something. So cable gland will do fine.

Solar wires thru side vent of cargo trailer

Has anyone ran solar panel wires from the roof thru the side vent of a cargo trailer? Good idea? Bad idea?

    Getting packages.

All I know is Amazon Logistics (their own delivery company) is the worst ever. I've had packages dropped off at wrong address. I had to go get myself. I had packages were they said I refused delivery, not there, hand gave to me, etc. that have been false statements. I may try the Amazon lockers...

Travel trailer hitch wire soaked with water

The wiring from my travel trailer that connects to my truck got soaked in water. Anything I need to do or be concerned about? Besides letting it dry out? Looks like it might have gotten corroded a little. I still have 12 volt power inside

    $9900 new travel trailer?

I've been seriously looking at the cargo trailer option but everything has pros and cons. I know several campgrounds near family I visit that won't allow a cargo trailer for extended periods and some won't allow them at all. Also, BLM LTVA rules state you must stay within 500ft of a vault toilet...

    $9900 new travel trailer?

I agree 1200 lbs is on the low end, but the Casita deluxe only has 1200lbs and several people full time in those. It's getting harder to find under 20ft trailers with dual axles. Even some dial axles like the Venture sonic's only have 1200lbs cargo capacity.

    $9900 new travel trailer?

I saw one of these new 2018 Clipper Cadet 16FB at a local dealer for $9900. I realize this is on the lower end price and quality, but it meets a lot of rv'ing needs on the cheap. Might be an option over a cargo trailer or cheap used trailer. Here's a video 18ft long, 7ft 4in wide, 6ft 5in...

How do you know which weight distribution hitch to get?

How do you know which weight distribution hitch (WDH) to get? Max capacity? Style? Manufacturer? For example, the Fastway e2 Series WDH with sway control comes in 6000, 8000, and 10000 pound capacities. It also comes in either round bar or trunnion style. The roundbar styles are $270 and the...

Pros and cons of "deck over" enclosed trailer

This company lists a "narrow axle" option for $125 extra http://trailershowroom.com/master_enclosed_options.htm This company lists "6' wide axle on 7' wide unit" for $135 extra http://plainoltrailers.com/options-pricing/

Cell Robo calls and forwarding ?

I have been getting these calls. I am on the do not call list and report them all. I don't think it does any good. They use fake/spoofed caller id which I thought was illegal.

    Online backup

Take a look at Sync.com. It creates a folder on your computer and anything you copy into to it gets saved to cloud. The first 5GB are free.

Is this Trailer better, or is it all Hype

They seem very competitive if you compare all the extras they provide. It just depends on if you want to do the work or have them do it. My guess is you are getting a better trailer based on what I see on their website and that they are smaller shop probably taking more time and care for quality...

    Virtual Assistant

One major problem for U.S. people is competing with foreign workers. For example, let's say a full-time U.S. web developer makes $30-50 per hour. You might be willing to work for less, but people in Russia, India, etc. are willing to work for $5-7 per hour. Their cost of living is just so much...

Is there any hope this hammock setup could work?

I tried the hammock in a van for a little while, but a hammock is very, very cold unless you have some type of a down under quilt or run heat all night. Even sleeping on foam pad with blanket hanging underneath and around me did not keep me warm. I went back to traditional bed

Pros and cons of "deck over" enclosed trailer

The trailer in question still has 15" wheels. They have three options. Wheels outside the box (normal). Wheels under the deck (deck over) and wheels half under and half outside the box with wheel wells inside (like normal travel trailers). The site did not have pictures so I posted a picture I...

    cargo trailer?

Only the budget trailers have OSB walls. The middle priced unit has plywood. They have three options for wheels. Outside of cargo box , under deck and then wheel well boxed inside which is how most travel trailers are designed. My concern was a 7ft wide enclosed trailer with outside wheel wells...

Pros and cons of "deck over" enclosed trailer

I have been looking at some enclosed trailers lately and see a $250 option to use a 6ft axle on 7ft trailer and put the deck over the wheels. What are the pros and cons of a deck over? Pros: higher clearance, not as wide wheel-to-wheel  Cons: more wind underneath, colder? tip easier? more sway...

    cargo trailer?

One thing I dislike about cargo trailers is a 7ft wide box is actually 8.5ft wheel to wheel. Then I noticed one trailer company offering 6ft wide axles on a 7ft trailer for $250. You can either do wheel well boxed inside or a deck over option. Interesting. The deck over would give a lot more...
