My Mini Van Pull-Out Room in Which I Can Stand

One of the problems is winter cold... I wish leather was cheap so I could wrap around a proper cover. I would like to keep natural materials in my van... will have to scavenge material from old couches on Craigslist when needed.

Cocooning heat inside a van by creating a wool enclosure.

I appreciate the advice... Im hoping the need to continually restock twigs into the stove, in 10 minute intervals to keep it lite, will fool proof some of the dangers. Im wondering if I should use tubing to feed the stove fresh air from the holes in the vans floor... previously used to bolt...

Cocooning heat inside a van by creating a wool enclosure.

Yes, I have to make sure all the seals are tight so it doesnt leak smoke... its multi chambered so that there will be two places to cook. For sure this is risky. Thank you, Im hoping I can keep insulation light but use little wood to keep the van warm. Im looking to use Burlap in other areas...

Cocooning heat inside a van by creating a wool enclosure.

Im hoping the toaster will dissipate the heat to be none threatening...but I will be monitoring it for sure. My goal is to make micro homes to sell. Thanks... it will actually be a thicker wool rug.   Inside the computer case will be a SoloStove brand stove.

The smaller the area, the better the heat is contained... and since our blood is constantly pumping, the rest of the body is kept warm.

For sure the dangers of carbon monoxide will be great. I want to use a gasification stove to burn a limited amount of wood at a time and trap this heat for maximum efficiency. My previous BBQ.

For sure  :) Im going to wrap around a wool rug over a custom wood burning stove to trap the heat inside it.

My Mini Van Pull-Out Room in Which I Can Stand

I have no income but maybe one day in the far future. Today I tied down some lighter planks sourced from an Ikea bed. I plan to use the leftover Bamboo blinds as floor cover and maybe even put Burlap over it... or buy a light wool rug for insulation.

My Mini Van Pull-Out Room in Which I Can Stand

I would love to join a company to make this product greater and also Im open to others copying the design for free to use or sell to others too. My long-term goal is to build a large carving machine (CNC) and make "kits" with it to transform old cars and vans into new designs. The Toyota...

My Mini Van Pull-Out Room in Which I Can Stand

Its still nice when sitting inside... but most importantly one can still stand to cook or use the space as a bathroom. It could be deployed during the day at a city park... and the tent doesnt have to opened everytime its extended... just needs another cover design. I plan to wrap leather...

My Mini Van Pull-Out Room in Which I Can Stand

I used hardwood for bracing the vertical supports and inserted steel rods into the ladders steps for the base. For sure the potential would be greater but I want to keep it simple for now... and cost is another factor.

Test mounting the tent here... I setup Bamboo blinds down the sides. Im going to cut the tent and try to fit it over the floor base.

My Mini Van Pull-Out Room in Which I Can Stand

I think the aluminum mount I pictured earlier should help in this and lots of permanent tie downs at the base.  Tomorrow Im picking up some used Bamboo blinds to run on the sides... so the whole setup should be a bit more solid.

My Mini Van Pull-Out Room in Which I Can Stand

This is my tent... Im thinking of making sheet metal panels (wrapped in burlap) to hang on the sides to close it in.

My Mini Van Pull-Out Room in Which I Can Stand

Thanks... good idea, there is rubber trim up there which I was thinking about putting hooks on... maybe some kind of tent could be mounted from there and I can step on the tire to hook it. Since my middle sunroof opens up I was thinking one can climb up that way and amazingly use the top deck...

My Mini Van Pull-Out Room in Which I Can Stand

I like the upwards expanding room idea... just not the foam part. I'll be cranking a wood stove oven inside and am cautious to none organic things fuming. I have a popup tent that Im thinking of using... I may gut it and place little leather (expensive) at the top to keep from rain and the...

My Mini Van Pull-Out Room in Which I Can Stand

It expands a stealth mini vans space so you can use it for what ever need like standup shower or a generator room perhaps (keeping in mind of carbon monoxide poisoning) The second use is simply wrapping a thick wool rug around it when the cage is inside so as to insulate. The third is leveling...
