Thank you everyone! Great info! Yes... I plan on having space for a 20 lbs. Big Blue Rhino. Building a reg 48"W x 36" x 20"D kitchen and putting the water and gas directly below... like so many do. Good to know a 20# will fit in a milk crate, will secure that to the floor.

Walmart and trade them out? Or buy the specific smaller size on Amazon and fill it on the road? Where is the most common place to find propane?

When you can charge your batteries off your vehicle so much faster. Why not invest that Solar Panel money in buying another battery? I want to power a Fridge a couple of fans, my phone and laptop. That's it... All 12 volt, no inverter, no AC.

Yes, I going to want a tire that is suitable for the Southwest... that's for sure. I doubt that I will be able to afford a 4x4, more than likely just a Express 1500, 2500 but I will still want suitable all terrain tires for sure and a compressor that will handle them, if needed.
