Thanks for the info @seminole Wind...I’ve looked at the Victron controllers, just went with Renogy since it came in the kit. We’ll see how the warranty works and go from there I suppose.

We have had this same size/model Alpicool for about 6 months now. It keeps everything amazingly cold for a small amount of energy use. A very good price point if you only needs to cool a small amount of items.

I too visualize the “south wing” in a castle...don’t ruin our delusions ? We just purchased the Endless Breeze fan made by fantastic fans and it really is fantastic. Runs off 12v. I don’t know what your power source will be, but the power draw is low and moves some serious air.
