Thank you all very much for the helpful information. If I find that all RV parks / campgrounds are full, how likely is it that they'll allow me to pitch my tent? I wouldn't need an actual campsite, just safe 9' x 10' piece of ground for the night. Access to a shower would be a huge plus.
