    6x10 cargo trailer conversion/remodel

Rvtravel, thanks for posting link. I didn't do it as I don't like just promoting things. High desert, thank you! Unfortunately I'm locked down until something changes in the future. The video, it's not much as far as a step by step install video. I do still have the cargo trailer. Was thinking...

    6x10 cargo trailer conversion/remodel

To those that were expecting updates, I had very limited internet in Tahoe as well as a demanding work schedule. As it turns out, I was only able to stay in Tahoe for about a month and then my Mom fell Ill. I needed to return and take care of her which I am still doing currently. I've since then...

Photos show the new shelving and countertop, with the two alpicool fridges C-15 and CX40. The C15 will be used for a freezer. Also showing is rear platform/garage area which is about H20xW24xL69. Use of wood stove in that area is scrubbed for now.

Thanks, I do understand what you mean. Even in this trailer, which was purchased new, the square box was anything but! I originally wanted to build all furniture out of reinforced polystyrene, but conceded that I did not want to take the extra time, expense, and learning curve of a new method at...

Thank you I appreciate it. Sometimes I forget to pause and take photos or video. One of the problems on this forum I have noticed is the maximum file size allowence. I understand the reasoning, but in this day of high resolution photos it makes it difficult to resize without drastically...

Thank you Christine and Tav. Thinking about it now, I'm sure I put the stain on too thick. While waiting for the paint to dry so to speak, I assembled and fired up the new wood stove that I will be installing.

Good attitude. Yes it's very dark in contrast to the Virgin wood. Later, the dinette seats will have paneling on the untreated wood.

Not sure if anyone would be interested, but here is some photos. The following photos show the folding dinette, and Murphy bed platform before and after staining. I am not fond of the darker color, but too late now to change it

    Air conditioning

Thanks Roger, yes I think I will be going the route of a window air conditioning unit. I already have in mind the way that I will deploy it out the hole as well as the type of cover I would use.

    Air conditioning

After looking at the split, while it's a nice unit it also has a price point that is beyond my budget. That unit, and even the smallest one (12K BTU) has a substantial energy draw which far surpasses the window unit. Considering will be cooling a 6x10 trailer and used infrequently for now, I...

Ok thanks people for your input. I'll look at the split.

    Air conditioning

Hi all, Thinking ahead while I am building the trailer out. My original thought was utilizing a 5K BTU window AC unit. After doing some research, I've noticed the so called portable AC units which utilize a duct to vent the hot mand humid air outside. If I went with one of these, I would most...

With just days before I depart for Tahoe, I'm now going at a hurried pace to get things done. I am most likely going to get a few key things done/built, then the rest in Tahoe on days off. On this go round, everything insulated, sealed, including floor. Folding dinette done. Currently working...
