    Any thoughts on crock pots?

My van has a vertical access point by the taillights to run the cord thru, might work for ya. There was a rubber plug in the bumper area that I removed to pull wire. Hope that helps. -crofter

    Salutations!

I never forget the good advice "don't quit your day job" (yet). You could get the van for starters and try van life where you live, build up a nest egg for travel plus that all important emergency fund to be spent on the van during a roadside breakdown. And then do the quitting of the day job...

Introducing myself & why I'm here.

RE sliding cargo- You can get either a cargo net -like a spider web of bungee cord- and secure it at the cargo rings, or you could use a cargo bar which goes across the cargo area and keeps everything from sliding past the cargo bar. Another option would be to use rubberized flooring material...

    Missing man - FOUND SAFE!

So true. I have had "welfare checks" from time to time due to a relative's anxiety & phone system outages. It can be annoying when it happens. Always better to make your own contact if possible. Welfare check comes right before a missing person report is filed. -crofter

My intro and my (tiny) Nissan Versa camper conversion

Very nice build video, thanks for sharing. On the baked potato theme, I like the reflectix in my van, at night it gives a glowy reflected light that is pretty and just from my solar luci light I am using to read. -crofter
