    Cheap Moble Data

Hi. This isn't spam - no referral codes or anything here - just wanted to share. I just signed up for a free 30 day 2GB data plan that uses Sprint's network - both WiMax and 3G - on a refurbished hotspot for $16 shipping. After my free 30 days (which starts the moment I signed up even though I...

    Bed

Actually travel, an 8" mattress is probably far better for van dwelling. Hopefully this matress will fit the bill for me though. It too is a firm matress, but I'm still not sure if it's too firm or just right. The body has to adjust. But I don't have any pain waking. I too have a problem...

    Bed

Thanks for the replies all. Well it has been a few weeks and I can give you a bit of a review of the mattress I bought. This mattress is quite comfortable. It is much more comfortable than the previous mattress that was on this bed frame. The extra width on each side and also on the head and...

    Bed

BTW, when I construct my bed in the van, I plan on trying to make the head and the foot of the bed adjustable. Not like an adjustable bed, but so that I could park on an un-level parking spot. I figure I'd embed a bubble level on it as well. It would be nice to open up as many locals as possible...

Hi Kim. I wonder if it has more to do with how they treat us? Around here - the people I interact with "have my number" so to speak. Out there on the road I could be anyone. Perhaps it has something to do with that. Thanks again!

    Bed

Thanks all for the replies. I got it today and opened it up. It is 11" thick (manufactures always lie about size for some reason). I out in on my current bed and it seems very comfy! I agree about making sure your comfortable. The previous bed ive been on isnt very comfy. But I had a queen...

    Bed

Hi, I'm still in a house. And I've been sleeping on an uncomfortable Ikea chair-bed now for a few years. I've gotten sick of it, and last week I ordered this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007GMS19W/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It is a Twin XL. It is 37.5 x 12 x 79 inches...

Hi Bob thanks for writing! It makes a lot of sense what you say. Speaking of double edged swords: society too has them. Society is like a container that holds people together. Without it, people would fragment and be on their own reinventing the wheel every time it needed to be done and just...

Thanks MrM and OpenMinds! I too have been interested in eastern philosophy. I'm my case the greatest influence has been "I AM That" by Nisargadatta Maharaj. Yes about balance. In my search (what others called a spiritual search but I don't call it spiritual - I call it actual - gotta be real) I...

That is a great deal! Too far from me though. But great deal!

Hi all. I wonder if this might resonate with anyone. As I grew up I learned to distrust and avoid people. I spent 25+ years as a virtual shut-in. Out for food, or when I work (off/on) and that is about it. I was (and perhaps am still) borderline agoraphobic, and that was just how reality was...

    Nissan NV High top

Hi OpenMinds, thanks for your thoughts! I also have been thinking that the V6 would be a better bet for me too for less fuel costs. I don't expect to do a lot of mountain travels. As far as selling the car myself, I've always been leery of doing that. What if I get some counterfeit bills? Or I...

    Nissan NV High top

Hi. I think the joke about Austrailia is about the thumbnails for the pic being upside down. That's the iPads pics. For whatever reason they display like that - notice if you click on the thumbnails they load right side up. Why my avatar is upside down was just artistic license and thus just a...

    Nissan NV High top

Hi everyone. Last week I came close to buying a Nissan NV 250 HD high-top V8 with 9.5k miles on it. It's got a 10' cargo area and is very wide and rectangle-like giving lots of room and has 6'2" head room But the last offer they gave me was $19999 + my low miles 2007 Toyota Matrix. I got a...

Very close to taking the plunge, need advice from Full-timers and Vandwellers

That box truck looks downright spacious to me. You can vent with stealth openings and a squirl cage fan blowing air out and sucking air into the space. Just make sure the air gets sucked out from the top of the space.
