    Bed Options

Awesome! Thanks! I thought there were two types. You confirmed it. I'm going to try this. I love your website, BTW.   :)

    Bed Options

Thanks! It will be a weekend gig so I'm leaning toward a sleeping pad and bag. Thanks for the advice.

    Bed Options

Hello there, I did a search on my question and didn't find exactly what I was looking for. So here goes.. I've seen a number of prius conversions and discussions. I see two types of bed setups (basically: 1. Foam plus a cut/custom mattress plus sleeping bag  or  2. Inflatable mattress plus...

Dive and and Just Do It?

I really relate to this. I tried two conversions and now I'm on to option #3. One was a scion conversion. I gave that up for a van conversion. But I got one w/ a natural gas tank. I thought I could get it removed but I couldn't without risk to the engine. Then the guy I paid to help convert took...

Ford Transit Connect 2012 with CNG

I'm not sure yet.  I've been told that there's fueling options in Ca (where I am) but they are few / far between in mid- America. I have a van w/ a CNG tank and that's why I'm converting it. It's mistake # 28 on this journey. :)

Ford Transit Connect 2012 with CNG

Hello there, I just gutted the 2012 transit connect. I'm working the conversion around the natural gas tank. I'll be adding: Finished wood panels, flooring A bed platform that extends or stows away Extended storage above the driver's seat Turning passenger seat around or a small seat mounted on...

    Elusive Cargo measurements (not volume)

I was on a similar quest with another type of vehicle. They're really hard to find on the web. I measured someone's vehicle.

    Reversible Passenger Seat?

Jewellann-- Yes! Similar to a boat seat. When I saw it in a van though it looked more like a car seat. John61CT-- Good point. I don't know what the specs are for this seat to be used while driving.

    Reversible Passenger Seat?

You have to admit-- it's a good idea for a passenger van seat! Hahaha  Maybe what I saw was a custom job. I will post if I find anything.  Thanks!

    Reversible Passenger Seat?

I agree. I don't think there's enough room for a swivel.  I'm looking for a specific chair.  In fact, I think I dreamt up this chair option! I'll try to clarify-- I'm looking for a seat option where the back of the seat moves over the seat portion. The base doesn't move at all. The back moves...

    Reversible Passenger Seat?

I see your point. I will discuss this with the guy helping me with this. I feel like I saw a chair option that I can no longer find. It was a chair that the back portion slid over the seat. The only portion that moved was the back of the chair (not the base). I must have dreamed this up! ;)

    Reversible Passenger Seat?

Hello there, I'm looking at options for reversing the passenger seat. It looks like there isn't enough room for one of those swivel captain's chairs. It's a 2012 Ford Transit Connect.  Are there seats that the back extends over the seat portion so that someone can sit facing either forward or...

    Scion XB build

Thanks for these replies. I ended up giving up on the scion and bought a van ;). But these ideas also apply to my van conversion. Thanks!
