The San Diego oversized vehicle limits are longer than 27' AND taller than 7'.  It has to meet both criteria to be sited.  So a high top van, even a 24' long sprinter will not be an issue.

i just upgraded my vehicle from a Saturn Relay to a Toyota Sienna. I was seriously considering, and looked at the Element based on Nate's use of the vehicle. However, the detractor for me is i like to leave my bed set up, and in this vehicle, you just can't unless you are shorter than 5'6"...
