    Lead Acid Battery Recommendation

Different lithium chemistry than what we are talking about here. LiFePO4 is very, very safe.

    Lead Acid Battery Recommendation

I mean voltage (6v, 12v, 24v), approximate size, capacity in Ah. Right now all we know is "battery". A picture would be better than nothing. This is an electrically-ignited propane water heater?

    Lead Acid Battery Recommendation

I disagree. Any reasonably-configurable components can be set up for LiFePO4. Existing alternator charging is also probably fine for the stated use case (drop in house battery). an overview ??? OP is looking to replace the house battery, not starter battery. In OEM configurations the...

    Lead Acid Battery Recommendation

This requirement typically doubles the cost of lead deep cycles. What-a-a-a-a--aat is the existing house battery?

    City boondocking...?

Stealth camping is fairly common. Basic idea is to get a good rotation going, arrive late / leave early, etc.

    free alternative to netflix?

OTA signals are free. I picked up a check Homeworx OTA DVR for $3 at a thrift store. Clunky, but it works.

    That word "stealth"

I am unaware of any negative connotations. Some call if Urban Camping.

    Inexpensive GPS

Spend another few bucks on a dashcam app and and now the old phone is both nav and dashcam. Phone-based dashcams are massively configurable. Another vote for OSMand for android folks.

Pros and Cons of Van-Life out West

The southwest is popular with me because of low humidity, good sun for solar, and epic amounts of public land for boondocking.

I can’t get my promaster van factory led cargo lightstrips to turn off

Good call. The regular cargo lights turn off when locked when in AUTO position.

    Living space size?

My van is 72 sq ft for me and the dogbeest, fulltime. Feels like a tiny studio apartment.

    Imperial Dam

??? Imperial Dam is LTVA. There is some LTVA area in Quartzsite, but most of Q is free-to-camp BLM land. LTVA is not free (ie, it's "pay to camp").

cheap small device (but with keyboard) specifically for surfing Web - recommendations?

I do have a Chromebook that works well for the stated purpose. But if you already have a tablet I'm with @hugemoth on the BT keyboard. 1/10th the cost of a standalone Chromey, and fewer objects in the camper. Let us know what you decide.

Ad inducement to sign in sux

[sound of goalposts moving] People want different things. And, as mentioned above, one concern is what the forum looks like to people before joining. Same post logged in: If there's a difference between logged in/out it's not obvious to me at first glance. Note: this 'shot is from...

Ad inducement to sign in sux

In this screenshot there is literally no conversation visible: Not quite as bad in this thread, probably because the deer pic reduced area that could otherwise used for ads. Screencaps from Chrome browser.

West Coast beginner city with easy parking?

Coming at it from the other end - here's a list of cities with laws affecting vehicle dwellers.

    the electricity scheme

OP has made a total of three posts here, all flogging the site. They have had no other interaction here. They've done the same on rvforums, RMSmotoring, projectvanlife, etc.

    power station solar cables

The only way to know is to use the meter to figure out polarity, and that's not something we can do from here. Starting at 0:45,

Wow, Nevada residency is apparently expensive!!

Registration renewal can be done out-of-state, with inspection performed only when/if one returns to Texas.

OK, How Much Electrical Will I Need To Power A Laptop & T.V. For 24/7

Good on ya for doing the legwork. Understood. I do suspect charging will be the bottleneck rather than capacity. Most of us running LFP use more modest batts. BB is nice, but IMO no longer has the Golden Boy status it did in the beginning. I see 864Wh, but the difference is almost moot...
