    He is a great guy to work with. He has made them for years, but just starting to do the installs for the public. He has different model tops and will even put windows in the top.

    The company is Fiberglass molding and Engineering. They are in Thomasville N.C. They been in business 30 years doing mostly commercial vans. The owner is James. Check out www.fiberglassme.com. He will ship it to your door or install a top for $600

    I live in Indiana. I can drive 6 hours and have it put on. Everything else I found was out west and a lot more money.

    I have a 2007 GMC Savana 1500. I found a company in North Carolina that makes tops for handicapped and Ice cream vans. He sells 24" tops for $1,000 and will install it for $600... Is this a good deal???

    I worked on the van all day. I got all the insulation in, I went with a foil backed denim. That stuff is easy ti work with. I did the whole van myself in about hour. Tomorrow I am going to cover the walks with 1/4 in. plywood that I glued a light gray carpet to. Then to build a battery box. How...

    Hello from Southern Indiana

    I have had all different types RV's over the years. We just sold our 2013 motorhome last fall. I have came to the conclusion that less is more. I bought a 2007 GMC cargo van and we are building  a camper van. I have been following this site for awhile now. Hope to learn a lot here.....
