    The photo is actually a little misleading! At that angle you don't see the covered part of the coop. The hens had a little house, and then the cage you see on this side. I still question how humane it is, but they at least have shelter from the wind!

    I wanted to share with you guys this converted school bus I saw today on the streets of Eugene, Oregon. It's a little hard to tell in this pic, but it  has a chicken coop on the roof! Has anyone ever tried something like that? Reminds me a little of Ken Kesey and the Merry Pranksters'...
