How can I secure my van's doors against someone breaking a window to reach in and opening the door?

Specialization? They have a preferred fence that only handles certain things? Lion steals a hyena’s gazelle. Eats all the meat, leaves the bones. Hyena comes back and wonders why the lion left the bones.

    INTJ. I see that!

    Catalytic Heaters

No, happens to everybody. It was perfectly clear what you were trying to say after several reads. The first reading locked my mind onto a picture of someone’s feet bolted to a cookie sheet. Good chuckle.

It took me at least three tries at reading that before I understood what you meant. Thought you were joking.

Minivan - Portable Refrigerator - Dashboard Almost Burning Up

No harm done. We all end up with egg on our face at one time or another.

Well, those are the slots the prongs fit into , but, yeah, you got it. If you look closely you can see that those slots are on the end of a male connector. That connecter has threads on the outside. Exactomondo! Yeah, that could be. I thought it was going to be an easy, quick task to lock...

Minivan - Portable Refrigerator - Dashboard Almost Burning Up

What? Hey, man, I saw them with my own eyes. Held it in my hands. Figured out how it worked. Two prongs, just like a standard electrical plug on 120V devices. Well, smaller versions. And a two-slit male connector down inside the female portion that the prongs slide into. Each segment has a male...

Minivan - Portable Refrigerator - Dashboard Almost Burning Up

Never heard of the brand but not surprised. I just thought ‘Repurpose!’ It may look like a ciggy plug but it has prongs. Although I may just have an unjustified preference due to life-long exposure to standard electrical plugs Yeah, you need to snug that plug in or you can’t lock it. I’m kind...

Minivan - Portable Refrigerator - Dashboard Almost Burning Up

Not an idiot at all. Happens with me all the time. Also my iPad wll often display the character next to rthe one I tapped when typing at speed. Very common is for ’I’ to come out as ‘Ai’ One sees so myuch, (see there) of this that you can usually either tell it’s meaning or it isn’t that...

I don’t know what ‘lishtar’ is 😉 but I have never liked those lighter plugs. I ordered a connector for the Eenour AC I’m going to install in my build and it seems solid. (See pic) They apparently are designed for a specific fridge? The fridge in my van is likely to get the same thing.

Side fold futon or rear to front tri fold bed??

And…. it’s not currently available. The idea seems good though. Here in Japan the HOUSES have space limitations. I need to head to a few ‘home centers’ for some ideas. Thanks for the kickstarter.

Can rebuilding an Engine drastically increase fuel efficiency?

Any gains will likely be small. Of course you’ll likely improve HP a bit through better compression, which will give better mileage. But notice I didn’t say ‘measurably better mileage’.

    Pressure Cooker

My neighbor hunted quail. Went with him when I was about 10 y.o. but fast moving targets were too much for me and my .410 shotgun. Had the same experience with the lead shot. But what you ate around was birdshot. Buckshot would have tore the bird to shreds.

    Dog or no dog?

I remember what one YouTube trainer said…Everything you do is training, you’re always reaching regardless of whether or not you intend to do so or not.

    Dog or no dog?

From current experience, it varies from dog to dog. I got another Golden when my last Golden died suddenly. Mistake? Maybe. Very different dog. At the same time, maybe Cloobey is just living up to the name I chose, an ‘intriguing rogue’. And he’s not even a year, and I see regular progress...

    Dog or no dog?

I get the deal with not having a regular vet. I can see how that could be very problematic. The attending classes in stimulating environments, my previous dog never attended any classes at all. His classes were being out in the real world with me. He was off leash almost 100% of the time in a...

Why in the actual are urine separators so damn expensive?!

Babylon is a reference to modern society? The society that has left the ‘spiritual’ (read ’natural’ ways of simple life) behind. Camping being the natural way of humans?

    Are there any glaring incompatibilities???

So the EPEver, as a 12V/24V controller, will still do the trick. Having tested the portable unit I now think that the thermostat option won't work. The unit is turned on by depressing a film-type button and holding it down for a second or two. Kill the power and then turn it back on won't...

    Are there any glaring incompatibilities???

When you read my first comments I WAS describing a 12V system. But your comment about the lack of full utilization of the solar panels got me interested in 24V systems. And there are some other advantages such as being able to use smaller wires/lugs. And in my case I could power my AC directly...
