Mosquito & fly netting for van ...

Last year I bought a 9' mosquito net for an umbrella table - paid $20 and never used it and almost gave it away. Tonight I was looking at it and saw that it had a zipper and took it down to my ProMaster and started cutting away. There is enough netting to make a zippered covering for the sliding...

    A Minimalist Design Thread

This Ikea Vallentuna ottoman bed is what I chose for sleeping. It is metal and wood slat frame and VERY comfortable. I have had one in my S&B for a few years and find no faults with it. I would like to build a box to put it on for extra storage - and a ledge a few feet away for when it is...

    What materials for van walls???

MaTaLa and ArtsyGuy - I like the idea of cedar, I am going to research it. Functional: I have this amazing ottoman from Ikea that pulls out into a very cozy bed with metal and wood slat frame. I love it - but still debating on if it is a better use of space to go with a slat pull out or loft bed...

    What materials for van walls???

I read a book a few years ago about a man who lived with less than 100 items for a year … he was a writer so he considered his library as one item - if I recall correctly. Also, I joined a group a few years ago that was about owning 33 items of clothes - or less. I am not there yet by any means...

travel around … 200??? Sigh. Thank you for the link - I will listen to it. I sold all of my antique picture frames today and some artwork - that was difficult. Kitchen stuff and clothes are what I have too much of. But I seem to all of them and I can not change my mind yet - despite great...

    What materials for van walls???

Hi! I want to put ceiling (maybe) and walls in my ProMaster 2500 - but I am thinking wood is too heavy. What light weight, durable material would you all recommend for the walls?

    Berkey water filters

I did end up buying one and have had it for a while now and am so happy with the Travel Berkey size. I am planning on flipping and attaching to the counter, the metal stand I bought from Berkey and using that to store it in when I am traveling. Hitting the road for first time in a week - woot!

    Cassette Toilets: Pros & Cons?

I think liquids only bc the video reviews I have seen the solids are unpleasant to dispose of - I recently watched a video where they switched to composting and were adamant about how much they preferred that method.
