    I’ve Chosen My Power Station

Your power source is 500 watt-hours and the cooler consumes 48 watts so it would power the cooler for about 10 hours.

    BMS selection?

You are confusing amps with amp hours. You will not be drawing 280 amps. Figure what your maximum load will be and this will determine what size BMS to purchase. Probably the largest load you would have would be a microwave oven. A large microwave would exceed the 120 amp rating of the Overkill...

    BMS selection?

The Overkill is a BMS. I'm assuming that the OP needs it for his 4 EVE 280Ah LiFepo4 cells.

    Prismatic Battery Thread

Here's a link to Will Prowse's YouTube video using Fortune prismatic cells and an Overkill BMS: It's a very simple system and beginner friendly. The price for a 100ah battery and BMS would be about $750. Here's a couple of sources: Fortune LiFePO4 cells Overkill BMS

    [split] Tilt Solar Panels?

I have four panels, one is roof mounted and three are mounted to the side of my coach. If I'm parked in the sun with the side toward the south I can leave the panels attached and tilt the panels. Otherwise I can remove the side panels and using extension cables place them on the ground...

Install Solar Panels on Minivan Roof in Series or Parallel?

For the short distance involved you probably won't see much difference. When hooked in series you will have to use a more expensive MPPT controller. I have four panels which gives me a total of 400 watts. Unfortunately the wattage of each panel differs so I have to hook them up in parallel. If...

    Visible cell question

I have the Visible ZTE A7 and it is working great. It is selling for $79. You can get the A3 for free if you trade in an old phone and port your existing phone number. Service is $40 per month and can be reduced to $25 per month if you join a Party Pay plan.

    ford spark plug

I installed new plugs in my 2005 V-10 with 110,000 miles on it this past summer. I had no problems. Other than the gap the old plugs looked fine.

If you will be connecting just the laptop no additional hardware is needed. You will need a router only if you want to connect more than one device to the phone's hotspot.

    A toad to be

Here's my toad. It's a '78 convertible that I bought a little over a year ago. It's by no means a show piece but since I'm dragging it all over the place I didn't want something that would pain me if I got a few dings in it. It tows great and is light enough so that I doesn't need a braking...

    activate visible with mofi

The Visible SIM must be activated in a phone. The phone must have the Visible app installed and you need a WiFi connection to activate the SIM. Once activated, the app is no longer required. I'm not familiar with a MOFI but for my MiFi 6620 I had to change the APN to VZWINTERNET.

    Refrigeration

My 2005 fridge cycles when on propane. It has electronic spark ignition and a 12 volt solenoid gas valve. When cooling is needed the spark is started and the gas valve opens. Once the proper temperature is reached the gas valve closes.

    Poor solar pull...

I would say that for this time of year you are doing pretty good. The low angle of sun cuts back a lot on the amount of energy striking your panels even if they are pointed directly toward the sun.

Secure mounting of flexible solar panels?

I have a 180 watt monocrystalline flexible and it is actually more efficient than an equivalent glass panel. Longevity is another issue though. Mine died on me this year after about 5 years. I used it as a portable panel and perhaps it was flexed too much. I replaced it with two 100 watt glass...

    Powering a 12v fridge

If you skip down to the Q & A section you will note that the skillet actually draws 1300 watts On edit: I see that MrAlvinDude already made note of the error.
