    ProMs-Dodge or Transit?

A Camry with trailer is not a great combo. Not really a tow vehicle and to be light enough the trailer is going to be super small. But you can do whatever you want if need be. Chevy GMC are not known to be the most reliable/current these days. With Ford and Dodge they have really the largest...

    tin storage bins

Tin does not rust, it can oxidize though and the spot welds could rust. Depends on the composition. You can wrap them in felt to make them slide out easer. Otherwise go with better quality plastic bins like others have said.

    Trash Disposal

I utilize gas stations I am a patron of and trash dumpsters in the parks I stay at. Sometimes ill use town park garbage cans. I try not to compile too much trash so I can get rid of it anywhere with no "dumping" hassle.

    Trash Disposal

I usually use small plastic bags and put them in my water tight bear bag. The bear bag is nice since I can pack it into anything rather than having a fixed can size. Plus its virtually indestructible and can come in any size you need. Usually can find a garbage can before they add up too much.

    Alternator Output

On my V6 4Runner I get from ~13-14v. Yours should be similar. When i first start up its closer to 13.9v when driving its usually just over 13v.

Has anyone ever put a treadmill inside a bus

Just different points of view. A treadmill (let alone a Bus) is a big luxury over the majority of what people are looking for on this forum. I personally greatly prefer doing my physical activity for fitness in the outdoors, But it will never give the consistency of owning a treadmill and...

We need a "Phylosophy of Vanlife" discussion category

Everyone's definition/meaning of VanLife is different and we seem to discuss it in various forms here. But i am with you, humanity and nature go way passed the physical and the mundane we are reminded of every day. There is something special and wonderful connecting to nature and its endless...

    How do you handle storms

I will hunker down and weather it out under most circumstances. I'm from the NE so tornadoes are rare and hurricanes are slow so ill just move out of its path. Unlikely i would ever ditch my transportation that can get me out of dodge, or anywhere else for that matter.

Has anyone ever put a treadmill inside a bus

The power consumption surges with treadmills quite a bit, its why they suggest a dedicated line for all treadmills. Its not consistent.

Has anyone ever put a treadmill inside a bus

I'm all for having a treadmill for consistency (I'm in the fitness industry). But even the super small fold-up models can pull some current. A dedicated line is reamended for all treadmills, but a good 15A line can be fine. Maybe non motorized? Not a fan, but may be the better option. This is...

    Water ?

I use the Scepter 20L water cans. Durable and more flexible filling since the top fill is big plus I don't have to worry about the plastic leaching if stored for a long time. It is heavy, but much more cost effective then buying water and no plastic waist. It usually lasts me a few weeks if...

how to find space to safely store a van (so it doesn't get vandalized, stolen, etc when on-street parking near stix n brix)

I have a pretty nice vehicle and I over worry about break-ins. So i have an alarm with unlimited remote notification range, I also have cameras with "Security cameras in use" stickers. So far so good. I usually try to park where i am ether out of the way in a well lit area or where a good...

How do you carry, if you carry a gun?

This thread was created 2 years ago. If we cant discuss a constitutionally protected right that is extremely important to every single American, let alone someone living in a Van we are all doomed. Laws vary dramatically from state to state (though they shouldn't), it important to discuss the...

    Freedom from BAD SMELLS!

OZONE can potentially cause harmful health consequences and can damage the lungs. Had a bad flood at my work so they used a OZONE purifier and it really messed up my breathing. I already had asthma, but didn't relies how this could effect my breathing even more...

    Air Purifier Recommendations Please

Just wear a P100 mask. Filtering is a pretty simple concept, you may be able to make something better than buying something. This is a simple option: https://www.amazon.com/QUEENTY-Purifier-Efficiency-Carbon-Eliminates/dp/B07YFNSCMW This appears to be better. Just not 12v/USB...

    ProMs-Dodge or Transit?

I have a 4Runner and just cant get my self to go for a Van yet. Ill probably just carry around a big gazebo just to have standing area for the rain. Its just me so the 4Runner works well. I would lean toward the Promaster only because there will be more abundance and likely more available...
