How can I release my spare tire, with the back doors sealed?

Once ...I went to discount tire to get a flat fixed, they refused as according to the computer the tire wight rating is wrong, the tires had a rating of 1200 lb each and the car weighs 2200 lb ...still it was like talking to a brick, they will use any excuse to try to sell you tires.

No sparkplug firing while starter turns engine over on low battery

    * Can't be beat on capacity vs price, as you are in Arlington...check around Jefferson BL in GP, Years ago there was a guy there selling reconditioned batteries for like $30, 6 month warranty but that was like...over 10 years ago.

No sparkplug firing while starter turns engine over on low battery

For your house battery you can't beat the group 27 rv/marine, $69 at walmart, Keep it isolated when parked.Starting batteries do not like to be discharged and charged on a normal basis hence the short life span, rv batteries are not bothered by it as much...as long as you don't bring them under...

No sparkplug firing while starter turns engine over on low battery

A battery for the ignition is not possible, and even if it was, it wouldn't help, when the ecu reads less then 12v at cranking it will not fire the plugs or the injectors, the solution is not to have a low battery, furthermore, everytime you bring the battery to a state under 12 volts you...

    12V Cordless Tool Recharging

Its simple, If interested, send me any 120v to 12v li-ion charger and I can add a 12v input, such as a cig lighter plug. altho...it will be probably easier to buy a 12v charger if available.

    12V Cordless Tool Recharging

If you are handy with a soldering iron...look for a 11.1 v lipo charger(they are used by RC/airsoft guys) that works from a cig lighter socket, modify your tool or 110v charger to work with the 3c wiring harness and viola, using an inverter is highly inefficient, any time you convert energy lots...

✅ MECHANICS: Which is more reliable and easier to work on - Ford Transit or Dodge Promaster?

I would hold my nose and get the ford as I would not own a fiat Chrysler product for all the money in the world, Guess if you lease one and its under warranty...That may be acceptable.

Is my vehicle smog-free enough for California?

BTW, the %40 figure is purely incidental, the story goes like this: The truck is 8800lb gross, when I had it registered in WV (they are not good with numbers there) somehow they registered it as a 1/2 ton with 5300 gross, so apples to apples my commercial CA registration should have been around...

Is my vehicle smog-free enough for California?

There should be no need for CHP, The idiots should know their jobs, I tried to explain to the "examiner" that the rules are clear and there is no room for his interpretation but the they are drunk on their own perceived power trip ( a formal complaint is to be filed with both Sacramento and the...

Is my vehicle smog-free enough for California?

You are seeing it in real time, just had it done today. Yes, The pignorant bureaucrats refused at first by denying me the conversion certificate (claiming that I must have a sink and a toilet) little they know that they brought a knife to a gun fight. I went to CHP and had the certificate in 15...

Is my vehicle smog-free enough for California?

One more thing regarding registration, if you have a truck or a van its a commercial vehicle and you pay by wight, a half ton is like $400, 3/4 ton $500 ect. there is a procedure to convert from commercial to privet, I'll be doing it later in the month as the reg cost is just plain nuts here.

Is my vehicle smog-free enough for California?

Depends where I guess, my experience is in the LA basin. last year I drove in with WV plates, It only took half an hour before I was pulled over, once I switched to CA plates ...no more monkey business.

Is my vehicle smog-free enough for California?

Quote: You’ll have to buy a California specific cat with a special serial number (that will be verified!) and will cost hundreds of dollars. Hundreds? good luck! think tousends, as high as 3K, not on all but some.

Is my vehicle smog-free enough for California?

There is a problem with that theory, the cops here (socal) target "furin" license plates and they been doing so forever, easy pray. they pull you over with a bogus charge and then the fishing expedition starts, IMO not advisable from experience.

Is my vehicle smog-free enough for California?

A word of caution regarding registering "federal" vehicles in CA, the testers suppose to check the CARB EO numbers on the cat, if they Don't match you fail visually and will require a cat with the correct numbers, its not clear if that is practiced in the field or not.
