    Forming an Intentional Community/split

I would be interested in an intentional community too, even if its mobile. The way we're doing things now in this country... Well, look around, you can see the results for yourselves.

I'll have the topper back on tomorrow. Next step will be removing all the seats and dealing with the carpeting.

    we need a dating site

Yes, we do need a dating site. It would be nice to find a nomadic woman in my age group (30s).

Need some help and ideas-4x4 camper conversion

Thinking about this a bit more, I would personally be looking for a 3/4 ton. This would give you the ass you'll need for solar, batteries, auxillery fuel tank and provided you don't go crazy with the build, enough payload left to make a home of the interior. I think you'll run into real problems...

    My 97 1500

Well a really simple, down and dirty way would be to ensure its dry on the inside, and then take a garden hose and run water over the top of it. If it gets at all wet on the inside, odds are very good you need to change out the window/storm sealing, which is a simple job. Condensation would just...

Need some help and ideas-4x4 camper conversion

If you're deadset on converting a 4x4, I personally would look at a suburban. It would have the clearance, power and traction to handle what you need. Plus, once you strip the seats out, you'd have all the room you could want. If my truck craps out, that may be what I end up doing.

    My 97 1500

Making some progress. I scrubbed the inside of the topper of mold and mildew. That part actually took a solid three hours and it could use another pass through. Treated a couple surface rust areas on my truck with rust converter and undercoated with fluid film. I started working on the rack...

    Driving with anxiety

Don't be afraid to stay in the right lane and cruise at 60. At that speed, your fuel efficiency is maximized, you have a good amount of time to react to any hazards in front of you and its a lot more relaxing than screaming along at 80.

I appreciate the plug. At this point I'll just stick with the truck. I know that 5.9 pretty well and for a 97, its holding up well. It's only got 130k on it. Hoping to get a good solid couple years before anything serious happens.

I did it today. The first real step toward getting out of sticks n bricks and away from having my pockets pilfered.

I'm going to look at a bed topper tomorrow. l'm a little stuck until I can get that in place. I might have one tomorrow though. And on a different note, passed my cdl test today and got my permit.

That's the plan, I'm getting out of the trap and nothing is going to stop me. I got plans to build a topper out of aluminum which will save me a lot of money. I was so low yesterday and this morning but as I consider what could be I'm growing more and more determined.

I did it today. The first real step toward getting out of sticks n bricks and away from having my pockets pilfered.

USAA called and said that the dealership is overvaluing the van, and thusly would only cover a portion of the cost. I can't just cough up the remainder so I had to take it back. I do however have a paid-for dodge ram 1500 that I'm thinking I will make work. I'm sick of paying rent for this...
