I don't know, but if I was actually TRYING to hide from someone, wouldn't answering that question, be... well... kind of dumb? Just askin for a friend.
:)
In the event anyone else is thinking of getting one of these in the future for an older family member or friend, here's some data from the Better Business bureau. I think I'm going to keep looking.
I have a neighbor here in my RV Park who is interested in a Jitterbug type of phone. Any experience here with these anyone would like to share?
Thanks in advance for any help!
Yep, I waited until my Jr year of college, and then ... zoom... but in almost every case of people I know NOW with kids who won't leave, drugs are involved. I do not envy them.
Basically, if you plan your life and retirement correctly, you won't leave anything behind! Now, I didn't really PLAN it this way, but it works out. I have no real estate, my vehicles are not worth much, and I live on Social Security. Just got to make sure I get my 2 dogs taken care of...
At the time I was preparing to retire, my 32 year old son was living with me. He DID have a job, but basically was still counting on me to provide him a place to live. We lived in a 2 BR apartment. I had to sit him down one day and explain that once I retired I was going to make my life...
Indeed... I forgot where I was after the first few paragraphs. No disrespect intended, honest... I'm just old and get lost in my own RV at times. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
I have a touch of Sciatica. My provider prescribed hyrdocodone+acetaminiphen. I told her I didn't want that s*t. She prescribed it anyway! I haven't filled it and have no plans to. I just kicked 20 years of anti-depressants... yeah, I really want to start a NEW addiction!
UPDATE: I want...
Yeah, Welcome to New Mexico. It's an acquired taste. Thankfully, tons of people DON'T want to move here.
It's not the most beautiful spot in the world, compared to like, Big Sur , say. But then, it's NOT California.
Well, if we're of "like minds", you ARE crazy.
But.... it's very hard for me to find people to just blabber with. I'm an old hippie, former stoner, and my mind wanders far afield. I live in an RV Park for now, and may end up stuck here until the "end of the day"... I find it really hard to...
To the OP, one thing some people do to take their mind off of their situation is to engage in Social Media.. you can waste hours there.
Oh, wait.... Uh... never mind! :)
Yeah, I had a workamping job that paid $$$. I got tired of (IMO) taking crap from my boss and quit. Now I'm bored... was going to substitute teach , but decided I really don't have the disposition for it. Have too much of a tendency to say what I think. Always gets me in trouble. But...
I'm not a boondocker at this time, but this reminds me of the kind of thing that I experienced when I lived in Colorado. I always appreciated when people would post in places like California or Texas what a terrible place to live that Colorado was. By the way, it really sucks. I don't live...
I would like to add that I tried duolingo to learn Spanish a while back. I have a very high opinion of their approach, and it's ease of use.
The fact that I gave up says more about me than the program. I live in Southern NM in with a very large percentage of Spanish-speaking people.
It...
I know I'm not really answering your question, and this may have already been said a gazillon times already. If so, sorry. But back when I USED to be a boondocker (~3 years ago).. I used to go to truck stops for showers. In my experience, they keep them clean and most if not all are...
