Not much problem. W/ hitch rack on back I do have to pick spots that don't leave us hanging too far out the back into traffic, but overall it's not a big deal. Recommend the 3.5 V6 twin turbo- gets 20mpg on hwy even going fairly fast. No oil consumption, quiet- very happy.

Have full sized Transit, mid roof, mid length, now w/ platform bed only. Thinking about next van w/ shower and maybe kitchen, but want to keep it very basic and simple. Curious about what others have purchased of built. Used for a lot of 4-5 day trips for hiking, biking etc.
